Didier Lombard joined the team in 2012. He is Chairman of the Iris Capital Strategic Committee, overseeing the overall investment strategy.
Previously, Didier was Chairman and CEO of France Telecom (now Orange) from 2005 to 2010 and Chairman from March 2010 to June 2011. He had served before as Senior Executive VP in charge of technologies, strategic partnerships and new usages for the group.
He then became Chairman of STMicroelectronics from 2011 to 2014 and vice-chairman from 2014 to 2017. At the same period, he was also Chairman of Technicolor.
Earlier in his career, Didier had been Scientific and Technical Director at the Ministry of Research, General manager of Industrial Strategy at the Ministry of Economy, Ambassador for International Investments and Chairman of the French Agency for International Investments.
He is the author of Le Village numérique Global (2008), L’irrésistible ascension du numérique (2011) and Nouvelle économie nouvelle industrie (2017).
Didier is graduate of Ecole polytechnique and Ecole nationale supérieure des télécommunications in Paris (France).
