Stéphane Pesqué

Stéphane joined the team in 2016. He is responsible for early-stage investments in France, with a key expertise in digital and B2C services.

Before joining Iris Capital, Stéphane was Managing Director of CM-CIC Capital Privé, PE subsidiary of CM-CIC and France’s #3 largest retail bank, which he joined in 2003. There, he developed the VC practice, mainly in telecoms, digital services and software, leading the venture capital team and activities since 2010.

While at CM-CIC, he backed more than 20 innovative companies such as Amplitude Technologies (acq. by Cathay PE), JobPartners (acq. by Taleo Inc.), Exaprotect (acq. by Tibco Inc.), Graitec (acq. by Autodesk Inc.), Altaven (acq. By Cegid), Mister-Auto (acq. by PSA), Captain Train (acq. by TrainLine), Nexway, Deezer, Spartoo, and many more.

Previously, he has been an Associate for 4 years at Siparex Ventures where he led investments such as Emulation Verification Engineering (acq. by Synopsis Inc.), Microwave Vision (formerly SATIMO – IPO on Euronext, Paris) and 3D PLUS (acq. by HEICO Corp.).

Stéphane holds a Master Degree in Innovation & Technology Management from UTC - Université Technologique de Compiègne (France) and an Engineering Degree from ISTIA - Université d’Angers (France).
